What I do when it comes to leaking pipes
As a plumber my job is to give you a quality cost-effective solution and ensure the issue does not happen again. For burst or leaking pipes this involves:
- Leak detection - I employ specialist technology to locate where the damaged pipe is leaking, even if it is underground or not visible
- Pipe replacement - if the damaged pipe is easily accessible I will simply replace or repair the damaged sections
- Re-running new pipe - if the pipe is hard to access (e.g. underground) I can simply divert a new pipe around the damaged section
- Water pressure test - often a burst pipe or flexi-hose is because the water pressure is too high. I can check this for you and make adjustments if needed
- Flexi-hoses - I can quickly replace damaged flexi-hoses causing a leak and check existing ones for signs of damage
